1. Purpose and Who Should Accept

This document is the common Potato Intel first-login Consent & Acknowledgement for Farmers, Agronomists and Enterprise / Institutional Users. The platform should display the common core text to every user and then display the additional section that applies to the authenticated user’s role. This preserves one common legal document while avoiding inaccurate consent language for professional users.

Implementation rule: Do not use one undifferentiated checkbox to authorise marketing, unrelated AI training or program-specific farmer data sharing. Those materially separate purposes must remain separate where required.

2. Common Core Notice — All Users

Potato Intel LLP processes personal data and activity information necessary to create and secure your account, provide authorised Potato Intel services, maintain service quality and auditability, communicate with you, comply with applicable law and protect users and the platform. Depending on your role and service, this may include identity/contact details, farm/field/crop records, professional or organisation details, login/security data, communications, service activity and audit logs.

3. Common Core Acceptance — All Users

• I confirm that the information I provide or enter into Potato Intel will be accurate to the best of my knowledge and that I am authorised to provide it.
• I understand that Potato Intel may maintain electronic acceptance records, account/security logs and audit trails for security, service delivery, accountability and legal compliance.
• I will keep my individual account credentials confidential and will promptly report suspected unauthorised access or compromise.
• I have had the opportunity to read the Potato Intel Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

4. Farmer Section

Potato Intel may process your personal and farm-related information, including contact details, farm/field location and boundaries, crop history, soil/scouting information, crop images and related records, to provide the services you request. These services may include crop monitoring, agronomy recommendations, soil/nutrition/fertigation support, weather and satellite intelligence, crop-risk analysis, traceability and farmer support.

If you are enrolled through an enterprise/FPO/processor program, a separate program notice may identify what information is shared with that organisation and why.

• FARMER — I have read or understood the above information, agree to the Potato Intel Terms & Conditions, and consent to processing of my personal data for the described Potato Intel services where consent is the applicable legal basis.

5. Agronomist Section

Your Potato Intel account is provided solely for authorised professional duties. Potato Intel may process your professional/contact details, role, assigned farmers/fields, login/security data, field visits, onboarding actions, recommendations, edits, communications, training/quality records and audit logs for workforce/contract administration, service delivery, farmer support, quality assurance, security, legal compliance and investigation of misuse.

• AGRONOMIST — I will access farmer, enterprise and Potato Intel information only for authorised duties and keep it confidential.
• I will explain the approved farmer onboarding notice before entering farmer data and will never accept a farmer’s first-login digital choice on the farmer’s behalf.
• I will not knowingly fabricate or manipulate field, recommendation or traceability records, or export/share information through unauthorised channels.
• I will not upload unnecessary identifiable farmer or enterprise data into unapproved AI tools, personal applications or external systems.
• I agree to applicable Potato Intel confidentiality, acceptable-use, data-responsibility and agronomy/security requirements.

6. Enterprise / Institutional User Section

Your account is provided as an authorised representative of the organisation/program shown in your account. Potato Intel may process your business contact information, organisation/role, login/security information, authorised programs/fields, dashboard activity, exports, communications and audit logs to authenticate you, administer the enterprise service, protect farmer/business data, provide support and comply with applicable agreements and law.

• ENTERPRISE USER — I confirm that I am authorised by the organisation identified in my account to use this Potato Intel account.
• I will access and use farmer/program information only for my authorised role and approved program purposes.
• I will not access, sell, disclose, scrape, bulk-download, copy, export or use farmer information outside authorised permissions or for unrelated marketing, solicitation, profiling or competitive purposes.
• I will keep farmer, Potato Intel and enterprise confidential information secure and will not upload it to unauthorised AI tools, databases, applications or third-party systems.
• I agree to applicable Potato Intel Enterprise User Terms, confidentiality and authorised-data-use requirements.

7. Final Acceptance Logic

The application records the user role, organisation/program (if applicable), Privacy Policy version, Terms version, Consent/Acknowledgement version, language, acceptance action, timestamp with timezone, authenticated session/user ID and appropriate device/IP evidence. Historical accepted versions are not overwritten.

• I have read and agree to the Potato Intel Terms & Conditions, acknowledge the Privacy Policy, and accept the applicable role-specific statements shown above. Where consent is the applicable legal basis, I provide consent for the specified processing described to me.

9. Withdrawal, Decline and Access Consequences

A user may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, subject to applicable law. Withdrawal does not invalidate prior lawful processing. If necessary data or acceptance is withdrawn or declined, Potato Intel may restrict or discontinue the affected service while retaining information that must lawfully be retained. Professional access may also be suspended or revoked on role termination, program completion, security risk or breach.
